Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have never been happy. We are not happy with our Twilight series spa. We were told by the company this spa would cost less then $20 a month to operate. Not true. It's costing at least two and a half times that amount. ($45 to $50) Master Spa does not return e-mail or phone inquiries. Covers seem cheep. Not included under the warranty i'm told. Ours failed after a couple years or so. The underside ballooned into the water and eventually got mold and couldn't be cleaned. When we got snow it melted off the cover quickly. It's noisy especially on high. I'm sure Master Spa will delete this review???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spa - a couple gripes We've had our TS7.2 for almost a month. It is used daily, and we love it. Very powerful combination of pumps and jets, comfortable seats, and the perfect size for a small space. The foot blasters are so powerful that you can actually overdo it. Word of warning - don't grind your toes into the surface of the jets for long! They'll be sensitive the next day. Soooooo awesome though. I use the blasters for my knees and lower back as well. Overall we are happy with our purchase, but there are a few gripes. 1) The neck/shoulder chair is designed for smallish torsos. I'm 5'10" and do not fit in the chair as designed. I need to angle my body quite far into the tub to get my shoulders in the jet path. If the seat was a couple inches lower it would be perfect. Perhaps a redesign with a deeper seat and removable "booster" insert for shorter people would be a solution (willing to "test" your new and improved version as compensation for the idea :D) 2) Pump two doesn't have a low setting (it's full blast or off). I don't always want 100% power, and the noise that accompanies that. 3) The individual jets turn off way too easily, especially the large ones. I'm forever checking and rechecking if they are fully open, detracting from an otherwise relaxing experience. Move a bit, especially in the lounger, and chances are you've affected a jet or two. There is virtually zero resistance to turning them off. 4) No dimming function on the Orion lighting, and confusing "programming". Also zero instructions in the manual on how to use the lighting system. 5) The diverter valves make quite a bit of air gurgling noise if not fully one way or the other. Mixing the power between the neck and shoulder chair and the others shared by pump #2 makes much more noise than if diverted completely one way or the other. Beyond these few issues the Master TS7.2 is a very well built and designed spa. I did a lot of research, and am very happy with our choice. Self supporting shell, full cavity icynene spray foam, top quality parts list (Waterway, Balboa), and what appears to be good build quality. Would recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hot tub with minimal issues Overall, I've loved this hot tub. The powerful complement of 36 jets make it feel like I have a personal massage therapist available at any time. Cleaning and maintenance has been a snap. That said, I have had to replace a heating sensor after less than two years of use. The service call was $100.00, but MasterSpas made the process simple and as painless as possible. They did a great job taking care of me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love our new hot tub we really love our new hot tub. The only thing I would change is how the jets are plumbed---this tub is sized for 3 - 5 people but is really not suited for more than 3. The controls that turn the jets on/off divert water from one set of jets to another so that there are never more than 3 seats with full powered jets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and maintain My spa has been easy to use and maintain. Most enjoyable. I can't wait for the winter to use it. My dealer in Utica mi. Was very helpful in the site planning phase and more than helpful if any issues arise. Just one bad jet that was replaced, no questions asked and part recieved in 1 day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Buying @ "Spa Sale" by Spa Pool & BBQ Show a JOKE The price was listed as $15K; The "Sale" price was listed as $7900. What a joke. Want to see a REAL $15,000 spa? Visit a reputable dealer, not these rip-off artists. The guy who was in charge of the sales was a greasy long haired unkempt snake oil sales man or a used car dumpster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again Only purchase a Master Spa, if your willing to purchase a replacement spa the following month. We have had nothing but trouble with our Model TS 7.2. Pumps failing, lights failing, interior color fading from blue to white, turning knobs falling off and finally panel failure.

Pump 1 wont turn on so I am going to try to release some air pressure from the pump union but I don't know what paneling I am supposed to take off. Any ideas?

Asked by: bostonspa
In order to access the pumps on your spa, you will need to remove the front piece of skirting that is under the topside control panel.

Where exactly is the pump union? One jet doesn't work as a result (I hope) air stuck in there that needs to be released. I took off a few of the side panels and couldn't locate the pump.

We have only had our master spa for three weeks and we already have a error message appearing saying the heater maybe dry, we troubleshooting it says the fliters maybe dirty, we have cleaned them Still showing this error any other suggestions?

Asked by: Bryan
Hi Bryan! When the heater says that it may be dry, the first step is to always check your filters like you mentioned. The best way to clean your filters is to take them out of the spa and soak them overnight in a solution with filter cleaner and water. After you finish soaking them you want to rinse them off really well and put them back in your spa. If this doesn’t work, I would look at your water and make sure that the chemicals are all in balance. I would also recommend a chemical known as oil gone or enzyme gone. These will eat up any residual oils that could be in your water - sometimes when the chemicals all check out as normal, this can be the problem. Thanks for asking!

We just bought one of the Twilight Series 7.2 models and need the schematic for the electrician. We'd like the specs of the actual spa connection area, access panels, etc. Will you please email a PDF that includes everything. Thank you!

Hi Valerie! I believe one of our customer care representatives has talked to you on the phone and sent you these documents recently. If not, please email customerservice@masterspas.com and they will get you those documents. Thanks for asking!

I am the owner of a 2010 Twilight Series 7.2. A number of the LED lights are no longer working or do not display certain colors. I am looking to replace the lights and was curious how many LED harnesses there are in the hot tub?

Asked by: twc24
Hello! For the year and model that you provided, I was able to find out that there are 10 quad LED harnesses and 1 Dual LED harness. Thanks for asking!

Hi. My Twilight 7.2 has a 24 hour circulation pump but the jet 2 comes on for a while by itself every so often. This is not a big problem in the daytime but is annoying at night where it disturbs our sleep. Is there a way to disable this please?

Asked by: MDS4544
Hello! Your pump 1 and 2 will come on every so often to purge the air and water from the lines. There is no way to disable this on your spa.

wondering if I am doing something wrong? doesn't matter if I have spa set on High or Low temp setting, the temp of the water rises to 103+ and gets too hot as long as the pump/pumps are running, temp is set at 85 and sill rises that high. what can I do?

Asked by: John Frady
Hi John! With those pumps running, the friction of the water moving through the plumbing is going to cause the spa to heat up. There is nothing in the spa that actually cools the water. Ambient temperatures also factor in as the temperature is hot outside. You can try lowering your filter cycles so that the pump is not running on low speed for a long period of time causing the water to heat up. Hope this helps!
