Installing a swim spa is an exciting step. However, it can also come with a lot of questions. In a recent Facebook Live, Master Spas team members Ben Gilliam and Mari Cuticelli shared expert advice to help you prepare for delivery day and beyond.
Whether you're just starting to plan your project or already have a model picked out, understanding the installation process can help make everything go smoothly.
Ben and Mari broke down the typical installation timeline: First, prepare your base. Master Spas recommends pouring a reinforced concrete pad. However, you can also install your swim spa on a deck or other properly prepared surface. Then comes delivery, followed by electrical hook-up and filling the spa with water.
A common question: Should your electrician come out before the spa arrives? In most cases, it's best to wait until the spa is in place. That way, the electrician can complete the wiring exactly where it's needed and access the correct side of the cabinet.
From cover lifter clearance to future service access, spacing matters. Ben and Mari discussed how to plan for your cover system and why it's important not to build your deck too close.
The team also introduced Master Spas' newest models, including a 19-foot swim spa and the 21-foot dual temperature spa — our largest models yet.
Whether you're installing in-ground, on a deck, or planning a full backyard makeover, this Facebook Live offers real-world tips to help you get started with confidence.
