Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hot tub is good, whole experience was not Little were we told how much work it would take to get, install, and maintain. We were sold on it as being pretty much self maintaining, primarily just a filter cartridge and water change every six months. When delivered, we find out it needs multiple testing and treatments a week. We were led to believe we could just set it up, get it wired, and away we go. Little did we know, or were told, how much permitting and inspection work there would be just to set it up. And, we chose the hard wired version when we were told it would only cost an average of $400 to have an electrician wire it up. Ended up costing us around $1500.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed The tub itself seems to work well but regulating the water quality is too much work. I was told that all it takes is a cap full of chlor per week. Well that's not true at all. I have spent everyday since getting the tub trying to get the water correct and keeping it that way. I have had southeast spa come to my house to get the water corrected and it still is FOAMING terribly. If I knew it would take this much attention, I would not have bought it at all. Disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hot tub is great I'm very happy with my tub now. I was not happy with the company I bought it from at the Columbus Ohio convention center. They did not have my tub set up right and I could not get them out to service it. After calling your customer service center, I was talked through trouble shooting my tub. Once we got it programmed properlyit has worked flawlessly. My thanks again to your outstanding customer service at master spas. I still to this day have not received a follow up call from your sub contractors in the Cleveland , Ohio distributor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built, great size for a townhouse patio! Being limited in space at my townhouse I had always wanted a hot tub, but didn't feel I could. Being an avid Crossfitter and powerlifter, I am ALWAY sore and a good soak really helps. This is perfect size for my space, well made. The only downside was the dealer wasn't real clear about the electrical needs, and i had to have the electrician come twice to get everything right. Since then no issues. The TS240 is really a 2 person hot tub, not three unless you're having a threesome. But for my space and needs it's perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best way to end our day, Master Spa! Our TS 240 is perfect for the two of us. It heats quick and the jets are a blast! Our dealer was fantastic, they worked hard to get it positioned. After the first attempt the owner called me personally to ensure they would get it positioned with a crane. Days later we where soaking in the tub. Flawless execution by the dealer, couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel like a king Have ad my spa for almost two years now. I love it. The one and only problem i have is when i bought it i was told to use bromine. after a year or so i found my cushions were deteriorating i took that for treating my spa with anything with the cover on. Well i resently bought a new filter from the same dealer and they sold me a new and improved one. That one got my spa to turn funky with a blue ring around the top of the water . very sticky and jelly like. i bring back the filter thinking it was the filter and the salesman tells me bromine is not good. I wish you would of told to start with. i am currently changing my water and going to have to get new cushions as there have disintergrated too. Other thenthis issue i loved my spa so much. I feel like a king when im in it.

Our new nighty routine is soaking in our new spa with fantastic results. 1st class all the way. Our instincts paid off. You will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this size - it's GREAT! I've looked for hot tubs for a long time...but didn't need anything too big. This one is just perfect! It's roomy enough for two & has a wonderful variety of options. I absolutely love it. Tons of different jets & pressures & easy to care for. It was worth the wait.

How do you turn on the heater ? The tub heater will not come on since we turned the power off for cleaning

Asked by: Evan 1234
Hi Evan! As long the spa is in standard mode the spa will turn the heater on automatically when the temperature drops below the set temperature. If the heater is not coming on you would need to check the mode. The owner’s manual will tell you how to change the mode. If the spa is in standard mode then you will need to call for service. Thanks for asking!

Does my spa have blue tooth and or wi-fi capabilities, or can it be added. I would also like to know about speakers.m

Asked by: maporsch
Hello! If you do not already have 3” speakers in the shell of the spa, then you would not have a Bluetooth system installed in the spa. That is something that can be added to the spa as well as the Wi-Fi unit to control the spa from your phone. If you are interested in adding these options, we recommend asking your dealer about them and they can price out what they would cost to have them installed in your hot tub. Thanks for asking!

How do you get to the pump for air lock

Asked by: Charlotte
Hi Charlotte! To get to the pumps you would need to open up that front skirting panel. This would be the long side on a Twilight 240. To get to that skirting panel you will have to remove one or both of the corner panels as well. Thanks for asking!

Could you please address the filter system?

Asked by: Tonkabirds
Hello! The filter system is a two stage filter over the circulation side of the filtration system. The two stage filter has an Eco Pur charge unit that infuses the water with helpful minerals in order to support the chemicals that you put in the spa. This unit locks into the normal Microban filter that screws in above the circulation line. It will pull through that filter alone and circulate the water throughout the spa in order to heat and clean the spa. Once the filters get dirty the flow will slow to the point where the temperature sensors read a difference our four degrees or greater within the heating tube, the system will shut down the heater as a safety precaution. When this happens, it will also shut down the circulation pump and read low flow on the topside. After a while it will try again and if there is still not enough flow it will give the code again. This will happen a couple times, then it will show a dry heater code. The proper solution to this issue is to take out your filters and clean them off and soak them in a filter cleaning solution overnight. Rinse the filters off and put them back in and you should be good to go. If you are still having low flow codes pop up then you should check your water chemistry and see if something is off or if there is something in the water that could be causing the filters to get clogged.

Is chlorine supposed to measure on test strips on twilight series spas with the special filtration system? I inherited a spa with home and I recall the spa dealer saying it won’t measure on test strips.

I have a TS240 . It has the Mast3rPur System. Per the manual; if the spa has a 24 hr circulation syst (Maste3rPur)- a filtration cycle is not necessary. I have disabled the Main filtration syst (Filter Cycles). Please let me know it this is correct.

Asked by: Len O
Hi Len! That is 100% correct. Your circulation pump is running 24 hrs a day so it wouldn’t matter what you have the filter cycles set to. It will not affect anything. Thanks for asking!

Asked by: Rick

Hi Lou! For the control of your foot jets, you would have to turn the large 2” diverter to turn those on. The diverter to the left of the topside control panel controls the waterfall, and the knob to the right is the air control for the spa. Hope this helps!

My brother bought a tub used and the heater does not cut off on the temperature  he has it set at

Asked by: Don walker
Hi Don! It is possible that the tub may have an issue with the heater not shutting off and causing the tub to overheat. If that is the case, your brother will need to call a technician to come out and look at the tub. Before that though, I would suggest looking to make sure that the filter cycles are not set too high. Having filter cycles that run for more than two hours at a time can cause friction heat, which will continuously increase the temperature of the water in the tub. If you are not sure how to check the filter cycles, you can find a pdf form of the owner’s manual under the "resources" tab on our website, or you can call our customer service number (800) 860-7727, and a customer support representative can walk you through the process.

Asked by: Patrick delisle
Hi Patrick. You should not have to drain your spa to change out the circulation pump. There should be shut-off valves on both sides of the pump. One will be on the other side of the heater. Close those and you should only see a little bit of water spill out when you change the pump. Hope this helps!

We love our TS240 We have our tub outside in our backyard. We live in Florida. Is there a way to turn the heater off and still use the jets in the summer. I set the spa to low range for the heat, and set it at 98*. It was 104 this evening.

Asked by: emurray610
From the sounds of it, you have what we refer to as heat creep. This is where the spa rises in temperature due to external temperatures. With your temperature set at 98 degrees, the heater would not be coming on until the temperature gets at or below 98. The tubs are designed to retain as much heat as possible so when external temperatures are high, heat is pulled into the spa from the outside through the heating up of the cover and the skirting and then because of the foam insulation and the insulation in the cover, that heat is not given back off as fast. In order to decrease the temperature of the spa, I recommend that you open your cover in the evenings to let the cooler air come in contact with the warm water and cool it down. Thanks for asking!

why are the filters sold in two parts, the inside orange part and the outside part in screws into

Asked by: deeglis
Hello! Those are two different types of filters. The inside filter is the Eco Pur filter which relies on a unique blend of copper and zinc at its core that creates an electrochemical reaction to eliminate many microorganisms and remove heavy metals from the water. The outer filter is basically where all of the water is filtered through catching any dirt, debris or any other particles.
